About the role#
The Campus Crew Ambassador program is a volunteer-based, experiential learning opportunity for students. You will represent HackerRank on your campus to help build developer communities and support your peers. This is not a formal employment role, but a chance to gain experience in leadership, communication, and community engagement.
What you'll do#
- Act as the primary face of HackerRank on your campus.
- Organize workshops, hackathons, and tech sessions for students.
- Grow the local developer ecosystem.
- Encourage classmates to use HackerRank challenges to upskill and prepare for interviews.
- Work with the HackerRank team on campus initiatives.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a college student in any year or major, such as Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Marketing, or Communications.
- You have an interest in coding, community building, and creative projects.
- You are active in tech clubs or have experience organizing events.
- You can commit 4 to 6 hours per week.
- You communicate clearly and lead with confidence.
- You possess a basic understanding of code.

- This program is fully remote.
- The term is based on a rolling schedule with a 6-month duration.
- This is a volunteer position.
