About the role#
This is a full-time internship for students pursuing a career in medical assisting. You will work on-site in Neptune, New Jersey, gaining practical experience in a clinical setting.
What you'll do#
- Provide clinical care to patients under the direct supervision of physicians and the practice manager.
- Apply the clinical and administrative skills you have learned in your coursework to real-world tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in and completion of the classroom portion at an accredited school of Medical Assisting.
- You must have passed, or be eligible to sit for, a National Certified Medical Assistant certificate.
- A current CPR certification.
- Reliable transportation to the assigned practice every day as scheduled.
