About the role#
Gulfport Energy Corporation offers a full-time, paid summer internship for students interested in the oil and gas industry. This program provides exposure to professional projects and the opportunity to work alongside company leadership. The internship lasts approximately 10 weeks, running from May through August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Complete challenging projects and responsibilities assigned by the Land department.
- Collaborate with team leaders to drive results.
- Research and prepare analysis to respond to inquiries.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Travel to field locations as necessary, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions and equipment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a baccalaureate, masters, or doctoral degree program at an accredited college or university.
- A declared major appropriate for the Land internship.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher and maintenance of good academic standing.
- At least one semester of school remaining or acceptance into graduate school.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong organization, time management, and initiative.
- Ability to interact effectively with management and personnel.
