About the role#
The Development and Design team at Groupe MACH is looking for an Architectural Designer or Architectural Intern to join our office in Montréal. You will report to the Director of Development and Design and support the team on various real estate projects. This is a full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Develop architectural and space-planning concepts with the development team and project professionals.
- Produce technical documentation and presentation materials.
- Create 3D models and renderings.
- Calculate floor areas and perform quantity take-offs.
- Prepare project statistics, reports, block plans, site plans, and master plans.
- Analyze and develop project programs and pre-design documentation, including building codes and regulations.
What you'll need#
- A Master's degree in Architecture.
- Previous experience working in an architectural firm.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience with 3D modeling and AI-powered visualization tools.
- Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects at once while meeting tight deadlines.
- A creative and proactive approach to research and problem-solving.
- Demonstrated autonomy and initiative.
- A portfolio must be submitted with your resume.
