About the role#
Grass Valley is offering a full-time internship within our Research & Development department for the Winter 2027 term. This position lasts four months, with the possibility of an extension. You will join the Core Platform team, which manages the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the GV AMPP platform. This platform provides the services and libraries necessary to run media production workflows. You will collaborate with other development teams to build microservices, libraries, and user interfaces while ensuring the stability of the platform.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain software components in collaboration with quality assurance.
- Work within an agile Kanban team environment.
- Maintain high product quality standards and ensure system stability.
- Support internal and external users of delivered artifacts.
- Integrate automated tests into the existing Jenkins test environment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an internship program while pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills using C#.
- Ability to write highly performing code.
- Proven experience working in a team and in an agile software development environment.
- Fluency in English, both oral and written, to collaborate with team members across multiple international sites.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and MongoDB is preferred.
- Experience with Agentic AI for coding and knowledge of broadcast and media technologies are considered assets.
