About the role#
This internship provides exposure to various programs within our agency. You will shadow staff members to learn about different specialties before identifying your own area of focus. This experience is customizable and allows you to accrue hours at your own pace. While we cannot accommodate fully virtual experiences, some shadowing opportunities may be remote.
What you'll do#
- Shadow staff members across agency programs.
- Conduct individual and group rehabilitation sessions.
- Provide case management services.
- Perform individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Complete bio-psycho-social assessments.
- Develop treatment plans.
- Assist with administrative and management tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university program requiring a practicum or internship.
- Ability to pass a background screening.
- Ability to pass a drug screening.
- Commitment to confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.
- Majors accepted include Psychology, Sociology, Nursing, Human Resources, Marketing, and Accounting.
