About the role#
Grace Design Studios offers a 10-week summer internship for students interested in architecture and interior design. You will work within a studio environment alongside project teams to gain experience across all phases of design and project delivery. This role focuses on hands-on learning, mentorship, and exposure to professional practice.
What you'll do#
- Assist design teams with concept development, research, and presentations.
- Help set up project files and drawing sets using firm standards.
- Participate in design, studio critiques, and project meetings.
- Support the production of drawings, renderings, and models.
- Assist with the Construction Administration phase.
- Organize the material library and source samples.
- Gain exposure to project coordination, sustainability practices, and design documentation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design.
- Completion of at least two years of design coursework.
- Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, or Enscape.
- Strong design sensibility, visual communication skills, and attention to detail.
- A collaborative mindset and curiosity.
- Availability to work full-time during the summer internship period.
