About the role#
Service New Brunswick is hiring TeleServices Agents to join our team in Dalhousie. This position involves providing government services over the phone to the public. You will work with various computerized databases to assist residents in accordance with established policies and procedures. This is a full-time, paid student opportunity.
What you'll do#
- Learn the government services offered through SNB TeleServices.
- Assess client needs, verify information, and update databases.
- Process transactions and payments while forwarding information to the correct business partners.
- Use online manuals, guides, and departmental contacts to find information.
- Navigate SNB software and partner systems.
- Solve problems and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Collect, compile, and track service data.
- Provide floor coaching, team support, or on-the-job training as you gain experience.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma and a post-secondary diploma in a related field.
- At least three years of related work experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is acceptable.
- Written and spoken proficiency in both English and French.
- Competencies in client service, interactive communication, and teamwork.
- Skills in planning, organizing, and using office technology and software.
- Flexibility and a results-oriented approach.

- Location: Dalhousie, New Brunswick.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Some weekday evenings and weekend hours may be required.
