About the role#
The Marketing Intern supports the department with a range of digital, administrative, and creative projects. This role focuses on enhancing outreach, branding, and community engagement. You will assist with photography, videography, event coverage, and general content creation to increase visibility across various communication channels.
What you'll do#
- Organize files, support shoots, and edit visuals for social media and internal use.
- Assist the Marketing Coordinator with planning and executing marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate and order materials for campaigns and events.
- Develop digital and print marketing materials, such as flyers, social media graphics, and donor communications.
- Create content for social media platforms and recruitment materials.
- Contribute creative ideas to improve digital engagement.
- Provide clerical support and prepare collateral for Community Outreach, Business Development, and Clinical Program teams.
- Help with event preparation, setup, staffing, and follow-up.
- Represent the organization professionally at events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Marketing, Film Production, Communications, Public Relations, Media Studies, Graphic Design, or Business.
- Experience with photography, videography, or digital media production.
- Proficiency with social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Familiarity with content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is preferred.
- Previous internship or project-based experience in marketing or communications is a plus.
- A valid Massachusetts driver license.
