About the role#
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP is seeking a 2027 Summer Associate for its Cyber/Technology Litigation and Insurance practice group in Chicago. This role provides an opportunity to work with partners and associates on complex litigation, including matters involving software and technology disputes, cybersecurity incidents, data privacy, and intellectual property. The position focuses on technology-driven business conflicts and insurance-related legal issues.
What you'll do#
- Assist in representing leading companies in litigation matters.
- Work with partners and associates on all phases of complex litigation, including preparing matters for hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Gain hands-on experience with technology-driven business conflicts and commercial disputes.
- Manage multiple assignments while meeting strict deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ABA-accredited law school with an anticipated J.D. graduation date of May 2028.
- A minimum GPA of 3.60.
- Active membership on a law review or journal.
- Demonstrated interest in litigation, cybersecurity, data privacy, insurance coverage, or technology-related legal issues.
- Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
