The Technical Product Management (TPM) co-op role bridges the gap between business goals and technical execution. You will assist in triaging feature requests, organizing requirements to align with the software development life cycle, and maintaining product documentation. This role involves deep dives into technical architecture to transform raw feature requests into structured, actionable business needs.
What you'll do#
- Assist with user interviews with internal subject matter experts to identify customer problems.
- Create product specifications and user stories for the engineering team.
- Review product data and metrics to evaluate feature performance and system operation.
- Join daily team meetings to keep developers and designers aligned on product vision.
- Conduct competitive research on industry trends and competitor tools to identify potential new features.
What you'll need#
- Technical literacy, including an understanding of object-oriented concepts, client-server architecture, and system design.
- Analytical and structured thinking skills, with the ability to organize ideas into clear documentation.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, and Productboard.
- Preferred: Past co-op experience in cloud-native application development or AI research.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Science, or Communications.
