About the role#
We are looking for a creative and tech-savvy Digital Fundraising Intern to support our digital giving strategies. This role focuses on shaping our online donor experience through strategic outreach across websites, email, and social media. You will help us reach a wider audience and build long-term relationships with our donor community through compelling content and new campaigns.
What you'll do#
- Update our website to ensure clear calls to action and donor accessibility.
- Create videos and digital content to highlight giving opportunities and donor impact.
- Develop and implement segmented email marketing campaigns.
- Update, A/B test, and optimize our branded donation page.
- Design peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns to engage supporters as ambassadors.
- Support the planning and execution of virtual fundraising events.
- Expand and promote recurring giving options across digital platforms.
- Manage crowdfunding campaigns for specific initiatives.
- Design and schedule fundraising-focused social media posts.
- Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements based on data.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or graduate students, or recent graduates.
- A passion for global health, nonprofit development, and social impact.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with content creation tools like Canva.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact or GiveButter.
- Basic knowledge of website editing, preferably in WordPress.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with attention to detail.
- Comfort with data analysis and A/B testing, or a willingness to learn.
- Video editing or graphic design experience is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a remote or hybrid internship for Winter 2027.
- The term runs for at least 10 weeks, from February 1 to April 9, 2027.
- The position requires 20 hours per week.
- Mandatory attendance is required for five orientation days and every Thursday from 10am to 2pm EST.
- This is an unpaid internship.
