About the role#
This position is based at our head office in Montreal within the General Accounting department. You will report to the Senior Manager of Accounting and assist the team with daily operations, including payables and general ledger tasks. This is a temporary, paid role with a flexible schedule ranging from 7 to 35 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Verify integration invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance while keeping files updated.
- Support the new vendor setup and creation process.
- Review and update supplier master data records.
- Assist with Accounts Payable data entry and administrative tasks.
- Prepare fixed asset reports and maintain supporting documentation.
- Enter journal entries accurately and on time.
- Support the preparation of reports and analyses.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- A completed College diploma (DEC) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken.
- Strong initiative and demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with a focus on detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
