Germain Hôtels is seeking a Guest Service Intern for the fall 2026 term at the Alt Hotel Montréal. This role involves acting as an ambassador for the hotel, greeting guests, and ensuring every visitor receives personalized attention to create a memorable stay. This is a paid, on-site internship spanning 4 to 6 months.
What you'll do#
- Manage the check-in and check-out process, verify arrival and departure details, and support internal hotel operations.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests with care and creativity, whether in person, by phone, or by email.
- Resolve guest concerns and issues in a proactive, satisfaction-oriented manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to share information that helps provide a personalized experience for guests.
What you'll need#
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A natural customer service orientation and a positive attitude.
- The ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and calm.
- Strong listening skills to effectively identify and understand guest preferences.
- A diploma in Hospitality is considered an asset.
- Experience with OPERA PMS and general computer proficiency are considered assets.
- Enrollment in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or Psychology.
