Germain Hôtels is seeking a passionate intern to join the kitchen team in Baie-Saint-Paul for the Summer 2026 term. This full-time, on-site role focuses on maintaining high standards of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen organization under the guidance of the executive chef.
What you'll do#
- Prepare, cook, and process food using a variety of methods, from simple to specialized.
- Handle food preparation tasks including picking, washing, peeling, and cutting.
- Manage the segmentation, assembly, and packaging of food items.
- Oversee the proper rotation and storage of all food supplies.
- Maintain the quality standards established by the culinary team.
What you'll need#
- A professional diploma in institutional cooking.
- Two years of relevant experience in the restaurant industry.
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques.
- Strong ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated autonomy, adaptability, and a sense of responsibility.
