About the role#
This internship offers an 8-week program designed to provide real-world experience in areas such as Plant Operations, Live Operations, Human Resources, Culinary Innovation, and Sales. You will work within a specific functional area to gain exposure to the organization while contributing to team objectives. This is a full-time, paid position that requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level professional and technical duties to build your knowledge of company methods, procedures, and standards.
- Accompany senior staff on assignments and complete developmental tasks under their direction.
- Assist with problem-solving to support your assigned business unit.
- Participate in special projects and community relations events.
- Manage an individual project aimed at improving departmental performance or addressing specific business needs.
- Present your project outcomes to the leadership team at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university.
- Major coursework in Business Administration, Agriculture, Poultry Science, Animal Science, Food Science, Culinary Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to travel to other facilities and plants for meetings as required.
