You will work across the entire vehicle lifecycle, from early architectural design to full vehicle integration and validation. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features that ensure reliable driving experiences.
What you'll do#
- Define use cases, feature and sensing system requirements, safety goals, and performance metrics.
- Support system architecture development through interface definitions and functional modeling.
- Collaborate with platform and software teams to integrate hardware and software subsystems.
- Execute functional bring-up and system integration on development vehicles.
- Evaluate system interactions across compute platforms, ECUs, sensors, and actuators.
- Prepare and execute feature, sensor-level, and vehicle-level evaluation tests.
- Develop calibrations for both the vehicle and the bench.
- Perform validation tests using simulation, bench setups, and on-road fleets.
- Document test results, consolidate findings, and support root-cause investigations.
- Work with designers on sensor placement and create build documentation for prototype vehicles.
- Use simulation, modeling, and playback to replicate field issues and accelerate development.
- Develop scripting to automate testing in-vehicle and on benches.
- Analyze system and sensor data to improve performance and validation efficiency.
