About the role#
Garney Construction offers internship and co-op opportunities that provide hands-on experience in the field or the main office. You will work alongside project management and estimating teams to learn how construction projects are built. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role.
What you'll do#
- Gain direct craft experience.
- Perform job site surveying.
- Process and review shop drawings.
- Coordinate with subcontractors.
- Update as-built documents and maintain project reports.
- Assist with the scheduling system and detailed drafting.
- Handle purchasing, material expediting, and invoice verification.
- Conduct inventory analysis.
- Track labor and project projections.
- Promote job site safety.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for construction management, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Willingness to relocate for the duration of the term.
