About the role#
We are looking for Software Engineering Interns to join our team in New York City for a 10-week summer program. You will work as a core member of our engineering team to build and launch features that affect real people. This role offers hands-on experience in building systems that help members find doctors and manage medical claims. We are looking for people who want to solve problems that touch every person in the country.
What you'll do#
- Build, optimize, and maintain software systems using AI.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to iterate on projects.
- Participate in code reviews and share your technical insights.
- Engage in problem-solving sessions with senior engineers and team leads.
- Present a capstone project to engineering leaders and business stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals.
- Experience with front-end or back-end technologies, such as JavaScript, React, Python, or Node.js.
- Familiarity with databases or cloud platforms like AWS or Docker.
- Ability to break down complex challenges and find solutions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with technical and non-technical audiences.

- Compensation: $2,400 per week plus a housing stipend.
- Status: Full-time paid internship.
