About the role#
We are looking for an internet-native student to join our growth team as a Social Media Intern. You will work directly with the Head of Marketing to support campaign execution, content planning, and daily operations. This role offers an inside look at how an AI startup builds a brand and grows a community. We offer scheduling flexibility around your classes.
What you'll do#
- Execute marketing tasks and campaigns under the direction of the Head of Marketing.
- Support content calendar planning, scheduling, and publishing across X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Write and edit social posts, captions, video scripts, and other marketing copy.
- Turn meetings, product updates, and team conversations into organized notes, action items, and shareable insights.
- Research trends, monitor relevant accounts, and identify opportunities for engagement.
- Track social performance, synthesize audience feedback, and report findings with suggestions for improvement.
- Coordinate briefs, assets, and follow-ups with creative collaborators.
- Support influencer outreach and affiliate partnerships as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are internet native with a strong understanding of platform culture.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into concise copy.
- Strong AI-enabled workflows for research, drafting, and organization, paired with careful fact-checking.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments while keeping others informed.
- Good judgment, creative instincts, and a willingness to ask questions and act on feedback.
- Initiative and reliable follow-through.
- Prior experience managing social media accounts, including two or more years supporting a personal brand, business, project, or student organization.
- Work samples showing social copy, campaigns, content calendars, or account growth.
- Familiarity with social media analytics, influencer marketing, or affiliate partnerships.
- Coursework in marketing, communications, journalism, art, design, technology, or a related field.
