About the role#
The Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Intern program provides clinical training in pastoral care and counseling. This program is accredited through the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy. It consists of approximately 100 hours of seminar time and 300 hours of clinical time at our 290-bed acute care regional medical center and hospice.
What you'll do#
- Participate in seminar and clinical training.
- Learn clinical pastoral skills.
- Provide pastoral care and counseling to patients.
- Cooperate with pastoral care department staff.
- Engage with patients and healthcare providers.

- Completion of the Clinical Pastoral Education Application.
- An interest in pastoral care and counseling.
- Ability to grow personally and professionally.
- Commitment to attending all seminars and clinical hours.
- Adherence to application submission guidelines.
