About the role#
The Frankfort Plant Board is hiring a student for a Media Services co-op position. This role is for a high school student who wants hands-on experience in a professional media environment. You will work on various projects throughout the school year.
What you'll do#
You will assist with studio configuration and camera operation. Your tasks include managing graphics and instant replay. You will also learn about producing, directing, and technical directing. Much of this work happens at local high school sports games and community events, which often occur outside of regular school hours.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently enrolled at Frankfort Independent, Western Hills, or Franklin County high schools.
- A valid Kentucky driver's license or reliable transportation is required.
- You must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- No previous work experience is necessary.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Frankfort, Kentucky.
- It is an on-site, part-time role.
- The pay rate is $10.00 per hour.
