About the role#
As an Audit Intern at Forvis Mazars, you will gain experience working on client engagements similar to those assigned to entry-level associates. You will work alongside senior staff and managers to develop your technical skills and gain exposure to a variety of industries. This internship takes place during the winter 2028 term.
What you'll do#
- Complete audit testing on financial statement accounts.
- Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data.
- Help draft management letter comments and the audit report.
- Participate in client meetings.
What you'll need#
- Working toward CPA Exam eligibility.
- Satisfactory academic performance in accounting coursework, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Solid technical accounting knowledge and strong computer skills.
- Effective time management and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team or independently.
- A problem-solving attitude, initiative, and close attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines.
- Reliable transportation for travel to the office and off-site meetings.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
