About the role#
Forum Asset Management is seeking an IT Intern to support daily operations in the Toronto office. Reporting to the IT Support Technician, you will manage real tickets and projects while contributing to the AI and automation initiatives shaping the firm. This role is intended for students in a co-op program looking to gain hands-on experience in a lean IT environment.
What you'll do#
- Resolve routine hardware, software, and account requests through the ConnectWise and Jira ticketing systems.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding tasks, including laptop preparation and account provisioning.
- Maintain hardware inventory and coordinate device repairs or warranty claims.
- Perform Microsoft 365 and Entra administrative tasks, such as mailbox setup and license management.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles.
- Assist with IT service metric reporting and monitor for security threats like phishing.
- Contribute to internal AI and automation pilot projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science, IT, or related co-op program.
- Proficiency working in both Windows and Mac environments.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and basic networking concepts.
- Strong interest in AI tools and automation.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical processes clearly.
- Ability to exercise good judgment under pressure and work as a self-starter.

- Location: 181 Bay Street, Toronto, Ontario.
- Term: Fall 2026 (4-month or 8-month duration).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site (5 days per week).
- Compensation: $750 to $1,000 CAD per week.
