About the role#
We are looking for a .Net Engineer Intern to join our team in Tampa. This role is for recent graduates who want to gain practical experience in a professional software development environment. You will work alongside senior developers on real-world projects, focusing on coding, testing, and documentation.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain software applications using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Document your code, processes, and overall development progress.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues to identify root causes and implement fixes.
- Communicate with team members and stakeholders.
- Take on additional tasks to support the engineering team as needed.
What you'll need#
- A completed Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- A strong interest in software engineering.
- A basic understanding of C# and the .NET framework.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development concepts.
- A basic understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and software development principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate well with others.
- Exposure to .NET Core, Web APIs, or Entity Framework is helpful.
- Experience with Git and cloud platforms like Azure is a plus.
- Previous project work that demonstrates your development skills.
