IT Intern

About the role#

Fenwick & West is offering IT internship opportunities for Summer 2026. This role provides broad experience across the IT department, offering hands-on learning with enterprise systems, operational workflows, and cross-team collaboration. The position is paid and operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring at least one day on-site per week.

What you'll do#

Interns will gain exposure to various IT functions, including:

• Service Desk & AV Support: Assisting with daily service desk operations, troubleshooting, conference room technology, and AV support.
• Solutions & Automation: Supporting AI prompting and workflow experimentation, helping teams use generative AI tools responsibly, and assisting with embedding security and confidentiality controls into processes.
• Cybersecurity: Contributing to alert monitoring, incident response activities, and verification tasks.
• Technical Training: Assisting with digital learning projects and content creation for internal training resources.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled in a college degree program, with a focus on Computer Science or Cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Genuine interest in IT support, cybersecurity, or AI-related technology.
• Eagerness to learn and collaborate in a professional environment.

• Locations: Silicon Valley, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Monica, CA; and New York, NY.
• Term: Summer 2026.
• Work Modality: Hybrid (minimum one day on-site per week).
• Compensation: $21 - $25 per hour.
