The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is seeking a part-time intern for the Fall 2026 term to support the economic business survey team. This position contributes to the Bank's mission of understanding regional economic activity and the outlook of business and community leaders. Interns will engage in research, communication, and project management while receiving mentorship and leadership training.
What you'll do#
- Recruit businesses into the Richmond Fed Business Survey panel through phone and email outreach.
- Maintain engagement with existing survey panel members to encourage continued participation.
- Assist in the design and implementation of marketing strategies to increase survey participation.
- Track, analyze, and report on outreach efforts to measure campaign performance and impact.
- Analyze survey participant data to identify response trends and improve the participant database.
- Conduct literature reviews on survey methodology and participate in related training sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Economics, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Resourcefulness in gathering and evaluating firm information.
