About the role#
The Associate Pathway Internship is a full-time, paid summer program based in Jefferson City, Missouri. This 12-week experience offers students enrolled in or graduated from a technical or trade school the chance to gain practical skills in agricultural finance. You will work on-site, engage with our team, and contribute to projects that support our business objectives.
What you'll do#
- Shadow professionals to learn how we build customer relationships and support our brand image.
- Apply your academic knowledge to hands-on projects and present your findings to senior leadership.
- Explore technical areas including Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Credit, Loan Services, and Information Services.
- Learn the components of the lending process, credit fundamentals, and risk management functions.
- Work with several mentors and interact with staff as a team member.
- Customize your experience through mentorships in your area of interest.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or graduation from a technical or trade school program pursuing an Associate degree or equivalent certification.
- A GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- A strong work ethic, flexibility, and collaboration skills.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office tools and the ability to learn new software.
- General knowledge of financial and accounting terms.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
- The ability to protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of systems and data.
