The Partnership Marketing Intern will support the Partnership Marketing Activation Manager in achieving departmental objectives. This role provides an opportunity to understand how sports sponsorship drives ROI and brand equity within a professional sports organization. Interns will gain hands-on experience in the sports, entertainment, and marketing industries.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the implementation of Partnership Marketing goals and objectives.
- Execute grassroots initiatives, including the FC Dallas Soccer Tour, which involves setting up event assets like inflatables and tents and interacting with fans.
- Plan and execute offsite partner events, such as community clinics, watch parties, and mascot appearances.
- Compile social media and TV broadcast proof of assets for partnership fulfillment.
- Monitor internal and external environments to identify new opportunities, projects, and promotions.
- Manage asset inventory and handle administrative tasks.
- Maintain communication with the Partnership Marketing Department.
What you'll need#
- Must be an active college student currently enrolled in a program, such as Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Sociology.
- Must receive college credit for the internship.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Spanish language skills are preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some nights, weekends, and holidays.
