2026 Fall Internship | Frisco Bowl | Events

About the role#

This internship provides exposure to the management and logistics of professional bowl game events. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will assist with day-to-day operations and the execution of bowl week activities. This position runs from September to December 2026 and requires college credit from an accredited university.

What you'll do#

• Assist in final preparations for the Frisco Bowl Online Charity Auction.
• Support and recap Frisco Bowl events.
• Manage logistical needs, including catering, décor, signage, audio/visual, and guest services.
• Research, order, and track inventory for promotional items.
• Develop hosting and management plans for the Players Lounge and Coaches Hospitality Lounge.
• Assist with bowl week events, such as the Team Arrival Dinner, Player Gifting, Kids Day Out, and Fan Fest.
• Help lead the team of bowl week interns and assist with game day operations.

What you'll need#

• Must be an active college student, preferably pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Event Planning, Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Health, Kinesiology, Real Estate, or Psychology.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.
• Ability to work 15-20 hours per week, with increased hours closer to the bowl games.

• Location: Frisco, Texas (Toyota Stadium).
• Term: Fall 2026 (September through December).
• Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: Unpaid; must receive college credit.
• Schedule: Flexible, including some nights and weekends.
