About the role#
The Frisco Bowl is seeking a Marketing and Digital Media Intern for the Spring 2027 semester. This role provides experience within a professional sports and entertainment organization. You will report to the Executive Director and assist with daily objectives to promote the bowl game and grow brand awareness. This is an on-site position based at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Develop marketing strategies and social media campaigns to increase brand awareness.
- Plan and create monthly social media content calendars.
- Support promotional efforts across Instagram, X, and other digital channels.
- Create social media content and marketing materials using tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Capture on-site content and provide digital coverage during community activations and promotional events.
- Assist with sponsor marketing activities and grassroots marketing efforts.
- Coordinate marketing research projects and organize logistics for events.
- Create recap books for media, collateral, and licensing items.
What you'll need#
- You must be an active college student receiving academic credit for this internship.
- Ability to work 15 to 20 hours per week, including some nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva.
- Preferred background in Sports Marketing, Digital Media, Marketing, or Public Relations.
- Adobe Creative Suite skills are preferred, and photography or videography experience is a plus.
- You are encouraged to submit a portfolio of your graphic design, social media, or video work.
