About the role#
FC Cincinnati is seeking an Event Operations Intern for the Fall 2026 semester. This position offers exposure to large-scale event management at TQL Stadium, which hosts MLS games, college football, and community events like the Thanksgiving Day Race. This is a paid, part-time position requiring approximately 25 hours per week, including flexible hours on nights, weekends, and holidays.
What you'll do#
- Provide event support and coordination for all TQL Stadium events including MLS games and private functions.
- Assist with the planning and execution of the 2026 Thanksgiving Day Race.
- Support the implementation of facility rules and policies.
- Assist with the production of stadium accreditation for events.
- Maintain and organize event documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to gain organizational knowledge.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and provide general support for the Event Operations team on special projects.
- Provide customer service to clients and the public throughout the event process.
What you'll need#
- Current college student or a recent graduate within the last six months.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong customer service skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and the public.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including sitting, standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Majors in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Health, or Sociology are preferred.
