About the role#
FBFM is hiring a part-time Intern to support our field offices in Illinois. This role focuses on administrative organization and financial data entry. You will assist our staff with daily operations and help maintain accurate records for our clients.
What you'll do#
- Assist with tax preparation and organize client tax documents.
- Enter financial information into T-Books and E-books.
- Perform Check Accounting and process W-2 and 1099 forms.
- Manage front-desk duties including taking messages and confirming client appointments.
- Handle office logistics such as monitoring supplies, managing mail, and maintaining databases.
- Support field staff by optimizing office procedures.
- Assist with special projects, including PPP Loan and ERC calculations.
- Complete optional tasks like billing, binder creation, and depreciation schedule updates.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Agribusiness, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- A background in agriculture.
- Proficiency in MS Office and general computer aptitude.
- Working knowledge of office equipment and management procedures.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
