About the role#
Faurecia is hiring a Quality Intern for a year-round, full-time position at the Simpsonville, Kentucky plant. This role supports the Quality Department in daily operations and manufacturing process improvements.
What you'll do#
- Assist with planning and implementing new products or changes to manufacturing processes.
- Work alongside Supervisors and Production Managers to resolve customer and plant issues.
- Coach teams on quick response and quality control methods.
- Report problem-solving actions within the Faurecia Quality Systems.
- Support Quality Engineers and the FES &P Manager with system implementations.
- Communicate and interface with a diverse workforce.
- Ensure compliance with HSE rules, environmental regulations, and internal plant controls.
- Promote the company code of ethics and management values.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, or Metrology.
- Full-time enrollment status with a minimum 2.8 GPA.
- Prior industrial experience, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Competence in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work as a self-starter and manage tasks independently.
