About the role#
Fast Enterprises is looking for a Human Resources Intern to join our team in Centennial, Colorado. This is a part-time, in-person internship during the Spring 2027 term. You will work alongside HR professionals to gain experience in recruiting, onboarding, and employee engagement.
What you'll do#
- Learn and use HR systems like ADP and iCIMS to manage employee and candidate records.
- Support new hire onboarding by entering data, processing background checks, and handling Form I-9 and E-Verify documentation.
- Track onboarding tasks and follow up on outstanding items.
- Maintain and update employee files while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with HR compliance, internal audits, and file clean-up.
- Help coordinate and contribute ideas for company wellness and engagement initiatives.
- Create and update reports, documentation, and presentations using Microsoft Office.
- Shadow HR team members during meetings and projects to understand how the department functions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for human resources, business, liberal arts, or a related field.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a solid work ethic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A curious mindset and a desire to learn.
Location & details#
- Location: Centennial, Colorado.
- Commitment: 15-20 hours per week for at least 12 continuous weeks during Spring 2027.
- Modality: This is an on-site, in-person role.
- Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
