About the role#
Fancy is looking for a Marketing Intern to support our growth, brand, and community initiatives. This role is for a student or recent graduate who wants hands-on experience in a fintech startup. You will work across digital campaigns, social media, and community building to engage renters, property managers, and advertisers. You will collaborate with our Revenue Operations, Partnerships, and Product teams to see how strategy and execution work in a startup environment.
What you'll do#
- Plan and create B2B and B2C content to build brand awareness.
- Research market and competitor trends to find new marketing opportunities.
- Support community outreach, ambassador programs, and partnerships with universities or influencers.
- Help plan and run virtual and in-person events like webinars and recruitment fairs.
- Maintain content calendars, organize marketing assets, and support campaign workflows.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Design, or a related field.
- A strong interest in fintech, startups, digital marketing, or loyalty programs.
- Excellent writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
- Experience with marketing tools such as Instagram, Canva, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Figma, or Braze.
- A highly organized, self-driven approach to managing multiple tasks.
- A curious, collaborative mindset and an eagerness to learn.
