Bachelors Level Intern or Practicum Student

About the role#

Family & Children's Services is seeking a Bachelors Level Intern or Practicum Student for the Fall 2027 term. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mental health care by assisting with case management and rehabilitation services. You will work under supervision to support clients through assessment, advocacy, and resource coordination.

What you'll do#

• Assist with case management and rehabilitation services using a strengths-based and client-driven approach.
• Observe the development of comprehensive intake screenings, assessments, and treatment plans.
• Develop a resource guide and collaborate with community partners to address client needs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and recovery services.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in a social sciences field, such as Psychology, Sociology, Human Resources, or Public Health.
• A strong commitment to ensuring client access to competent and continuous support services.
• A valid Oklahoma Driver License and a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to use a personal automobile to travel to locations outside of the primary office.
• Must adhere to safety-sensitive job classification guidelines, including compliance with drug and alcohol testing policies.
