About the role#
This is a paid, full-time student internship based in Saint-Laurent, Quebec. You will work on-site to support the Senior EHS Analyst in advancing the company's environmental, health, and safety (EHS) prevention missions.
What you'll do#
- Assist with job safety analyses and corporate program initiatives.
- Support waste reduction and water consumption management programs.
- Manage contractor health and safety, including creating orientation training and tracking documentation.
- Deliver training sessions.
- Participate in communications, site inspections, risk assessments, and the reporting of hazards and incidents.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a DEC program or higher in the fields of environment, health, or occupational safety.
- Proficiency with computer tools and software.
- Strong observation skills, organizational abilities, and adaptability.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to maintain positive professional relationships.
- Fluency in spoken and written French.
- Previous work or internship experience is considered an asset.
