Student Intern

About the role#

This is a paid, full-time student internship based in Saint-Laurent, Quebec. You will work on-site to support the Senior EHS Analyst in advancing the company's environmental, health, and safety (EHS) prevention missions.

What you'll do#

• Assist with job safety analyses and corporate program initiatives.
• Support waste reduction and water consumption management programs.
• Manage contractor health and safety, including creating orientation training and tracking documentation.
• Deliver training sessions.
• Participate in communications, site inspections, risk assessments, and the reporting of hazards and incidents.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a DEC program or higher in the fields of environment, health, or occupational safety.
• Proficiency with computer tools and software.
• Strong observation skills, organizational abilities, and adaptability.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to maintain positive professional relationships.
• Fluency in spoken and written French.
• Previous work or internship experience is considered an asset.
