Corporate Finance Intern

About the role#

The Corporate Finance team manages capital raising, investment evaluation, and strategic planning. This internship provides hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of transactions and investment approvals within a growth-stage renewable energy company. You will report directly to the Director of Corporate Finance and contribute to live workstreams, gaining insight into how capital allocation decisions are made.

What you'll do#

• Prepare and maintain investor-facing materials, including teasers, presentations, and data room content.
• Manage investor and lender communications, including tracking outreach, follow-ups, and information requests.
• Support due diligence workflows and coordinate responses to requests from institutional investors and financial advisors.
• Assist with the coordination and review of Investment Committee submissions, including memos and supporting exhibits.
• Conduct financial modeling at the company level, such as scenario analysis, valuation support, and recurring reporting.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support coordination between finance, legal, and development teams.
• Build and refine AI-powered workflows to improve team efficiency in areas like document generation and data extraction.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Baseline comfort with spreadsheets and financial logic; experience with Excel-based DCF or scenario analysis is preferred.
• Strong, precise written communication skills for preparing materials intended for senior leadership and institutional investors.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot and an interest in applying them to professional workflows.
• A self-directed work style with the ability to turn loosely defined tasks into structured outputs.
