About the role#
Energy and Environmental Economics, Inc. offers a selective internship program for students graduating within the year. You will work on emerging energy topics alongside industry experts in a professional consulting atmosphere. The program requires a full-time commitment of 8 to 12 weeks. We accept interns for Spring, Summer, and Fall terms.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to active projects across the electric power industry.
- Develop a research deliverable for use in future publications or applications.
- Collaborate with team members in an office-based environment.
- Apply your academic research to real-world consulting projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as science, engineering, economics, business, or public health.
- A record of academic excellence and relevant work experience.
- Ability to work for extended hours in front of a computer screen.
- Ability to conduct meetings via telephone and virtual platforms.
- Submission of a resume, unofficial transcript, writing sample, completed interview questions, and at least one faculty reference.
- Independent work authorization for the United States or Canada.
Location & details#
- Locations: San Francisco, CA; Boston, MA; New York, NY; or Calgary, AB.
- Modality: Hybrid. Interns are expected to work from the office at least 3 days per week during regular business hours.
- Compensation: This is a paid, full-time hourly position.
