About the role#
The Business Development Intern will support the sales team in nurturing client relationships and converting opportunities into revenue. This role focuses on building trust with sponsors and CROs while partnering with the marketing team to support full-funnel business goals. This is a paid, full-time, remote internship based in California.
What you'll do#
- Research target accounts including new logos, sponsors, and CROs to map the buying process.
- Execute multi-touch outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone to generate sales-qualified meetings.
- Maintain consistent, value-led touchpoints with both prospects and existing accounts.
- Partner with the Account Management team to assist with warm expansions and renewals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on account-based marketing lists, campaign messaging, and event planning.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience through sales or marketing internships or related credentials is preferred.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
