About the role#
This is a three-to-six-month administrative internship supporting project teams, suppliers, and general contractors. You will work directly with project managers and superintendents to solve problems, track project materials, and keep construction documentation current. This role is on-site and requires a full-time commitment.
What you'll do#
- Manage project documentation, including filing, generating memos, and tracking Request for Information (RFI) documents.
- Review project specifications and perform material take-offs.
- Track, receive, and inspect equipment and materials for damage and accuracy.
- Update contract drawings with submittals and RFI changes, including 2-D AutoCAD work as needed.
- Support the purchasing process by obtaining quotes and learning subcontract initiation.
- Assist with project close-out tasks such as assembling operations manuals, updating as-built drawings, and coordinating owner training.
- Maintain open communication with vendors and internal team members to ensure project accountability.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma and completion of a sophomore level college curriculum in construction management or a related field.
- Experience in the construction or electrical industry is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and navigating construction sites.

- This role is located in Lakewood, Colorado, or Salt Lake City, Utah.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
