About the role#
This summer internship is based at our headquarters in Berkeley. You will join the AI Machine Learning and Data Science team to work on production level projects. You will help build models on large datasets to improve the intelligence of video and audio content.
What you'll do#
- Build production level machine learning models on large-scale datasets.
- Develop multi-functional learning pipelines.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for content understanding, augmentation, and location.
- Train and develop multimodal learning models using techniques like RAG, self-supervised, semi-supervised, and transductive learning.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement models at scale.
What you'll need#
- Current MSc or PhD student in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics, or an advanced undergraduate.
- Deep classroom experience in data science or machine learning or a prior internship.
- Proficiency in Python or R.
- Knowledge of machine and deep learning algorithms, such as gradient boosting, CNNs, and sequence models.
- Familiarity with frameworks including PyTorch, Tensorflow, or Scikit-learn.
- Experience with computer vision and natural language processing.
- Strong working experience with large multimodal and language models is preferred.
- Ability to multitask, communicate well, and work in a team.
- A balance of attention to detail and agile execution.
