About the role#
Electronic Theatre Controls is hiring a Product Assurance Specialist Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role based in Austin, Texas. You will work under the supervision of senior team members, a team lead, or management to support product development and maintenance releases.
What you'll do#
- Validate products through testing to support development and maintenance releases.
- Run test scenarios to find design defects.
- Log and track defects in the internal database.
- Provide technical support to internal teams.
- Estimate how long your assigned tasks will take to complete.
- Complete ISO on-the-job training.
- Learn department procedures, policies, and internal tools.
- Attend required training classes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering program.
- At least 1-2 years of post-high school education in your field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Familiarity with problem tracking tools.
- Computer and service knowledge.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
