About the role#
This PhD position focuses on building an AI-driven platform to support global product decisions. You will work with customer feedback, product data, and expert knowledge to harmonize regional insights. The goal is to create reliable recommendations for product development. You will collaborate with an international team of experts in AI, data analytics, and product research.
What you'll do#
- Develop and test scientific methods to analyze global customer feedback and product data.
- Research multi-agent systems to support complex decision-making processes.
- Design AI approaches to identify regional preferences and market requirements.
- Validate AI-generated recommendations against assessments from domain experts.
- Publish your research findings and transfer them into prototype applications.
What you'll need#
- A university degree that qualifies you for doctoral studies in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Systems, or Industrial Engineering.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Multi-Agent Systems.
- Experience in statistics, software development, or designing data-driven systems.
- C1 proficiency in both German and English.
- Strong analytical skills and scientific curiosity.
- Confirmation of supervision from a professor entitled to confer a doctorate.
- Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, remote position.
- The role operates on a rolling basis.
- Compensation includes a monthly salary of €3,030 in the first year, €3,194 in the second, and €3,497 in the third, plus a monthly allowance of €167 and a variable bonus share.
