About the role#
We are looking for an intern to join the hardware engineering team. You will spend your time troubleshooting issues with units from the field and supporting the testing of new prototypes. This is an on-site role based in our San Francisco office.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data from units to troubleshoot issues reported by customers.
- Communicate with customers to understand product failures.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to find root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Support product development teams through prototyping and testing.
- Build software and AI tools to help diagnose hardware failures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
- Experience interpreting data and sensor readings.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis, design of experiments (DOE), and quality measuring techniques.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
