About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the construction industry. You will support our engineering team with technical tasks, project execution, and daily operations. You will apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges while learning our specific systems and practices. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Orlando, Florida, during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support project engineering and drafting activities for both presale and contracted work.
- Assist with layout drawings, equipment selection, and quantity take-offs.
- Work under the supervision of experienced team members to meet project specifications, accuracy, and safety expectations.
- Apply mathematical reasoning and technical skills to contribute to high-quality solutions.
- Complete all required onboarding, safety training, and process orientation.
- Learn and implement our drafting and engineering practices.
- Communicate ideas clearly and professionally in both verbal and written formats.
What you'll need#
- You are actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Construction Engineering.
- Familiarity with Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and general PC literacy.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and problem-solving ability.
