About the role#
We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our team in Lincoln, Nebraska. You will work on mission critical communications solutions for public safety responders. This position is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site and collaborate with a team of engineers who follow established design processes.
What you'll do#
- Write radio features in a C++ embedded Linux environment.
- Create radio support and test applications using Visual C++ and QT.
- Build front-end and back-end components for web applications.
- Participate in development projects ranging from high-level applications to low-level hardware drivers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or graduate student.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
- A strong GPA.
