About the role#
This internship provides an educational experience for students interested in outpatient therapy. You will work alongside our treatment team to gain a practical understanding of how to support patients with mental health and substance use diagnoses. This is an unpaid position.
What you'll do#
- Complete clinical rotations or a practicum as a member of our treatment team.
- Maintain clinical documentation in accordance with program and Medicaid standards.
- Prepare service provision records, assessments, and progress reports.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Human Services or PMHNP program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage assigned projects through to completion.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
