About the role#
Campus Living at East Carolina University is hiring Facility Assistants to work with our professional facilities staff. You will help maintain residence halls and common areas to ensure they are ready for occupants. This is a paid position that offers hands-on experience in building maintenance.
What you'll do#
- Inspect residence hall rooms and common areas to identify repair needs.
- Perform wall repairs and light painting.
- Complete light carpentry and furniture repairs.
- Replace window blinds and light bulbs.
- Work 25-35 hours per week, depending on project needs and your class schedule.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an ECU student.
- A minimum GPA of 2.0.
- Good standing with the university.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Location & details#
- Location: On-site in Greenville, North Carolina.
- Terms: Fall 2026 and Winter 2027.
